Your best interest comes first at Women’s International Pharmacy. Sometimes that leads to adding a step into existing processes. However, we look for ways to keep it easy and simple for you to submit prescriptions so your patients quickly receive their medication.

To comply with Section 503a of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic act we need your acknowledgement that your patient needs a compounded medication versus receiving the commercially manufactured product.

To keep this simple and still comply with the regulation, we’ve improved our form and updated our processes and now offer a few options:

Fax Us

Your signature acknowledges that the compounded medication produces a significant difference for your patient and you want them to have it. We’ll fax the form to you and then simply sign and fax back to us.

Call Us

We offer alternate options so you don’t have to sign a form. We can compound medications that differ from manufactured products’ strengths by more than 10% without the need to sign the form.
